We kick off the month with a great modern jazz outfit.

Mark Nightingale – trombone. Brit Jazz award-winner & one of the UK’s finest musicians. Mark is also a brilliant arranger amd leads a big band as well as performing in some of this country’s great orchestras.
Art Themen – tenor & soprano sax. A legend in his own lifetime, Art has been at the top echelon of British Jazz for many years and was a great part of the Stan Tracey outfits, while combining his love of jazz with the professional life of an orthopedic surgeon.
Gareth Williams – piano. Very highly rated by all jazz musicians on the British Jazz scene.
Andrew Cleyndert – double bass . Has become a regular at FJC, and why not he is one of the best.
Dave Barry – drums. This man is the driving force of any unit. A great drummer with great history.
