We can’t wait to welcome you to Comedy Mash Presents…Unfortunately, our headline act, Felicity Ward, has had to drop out due to unforeseen circumstances. We’re sorry for any disappointment this may cause. However, we have the brilliant Andrew Maxwell now headlining.

Headliner – Andrew Maxwell
Renowned for his cutting edge comedy and intrepid social commentary, Andrew has appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, he is also the recognisable voice of MTV’s hit show Ex On The Beach. As well as being a regular on Radio 4 as the host of Welcome to Wherever You Are, he’s frequently on The News Quiz, which he has also guest hosted.
As seen on Qi (BBC Two), Live At The Apollo (BBC One), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Celebrity Juice (ITV2) Mock The Week (BBC Two), Conspiracy Road Trip (BBC3) and High Road Low Road (rté)..
Throughout his career, Andrew has had many sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has also performed at The Amnesty / Channel Four’s Secret Policeman’s Ball (alongside Eddie Izzard, Chevy Chase and Dylan Moran), Glastonbury, Kilkenny’s Cat Laughs, The HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Las Vegas (alongside Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock), and several appearances at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival.

 

Opening Act – Tom Ward

Tom is an award-winning comedian from London. He has appeared on ‘Live at The Apollo’ , ‘Live from The BBC’, ‘Roast Battle’ , ‘Stand up Central’, ‘Live From The Comedy Store’ and ‘The Stand Up Sketch Show’.

He has supported Jack Whitehall, Joe Lycett and Sindhu Vee & Jason Manford on tour. He has done four solo shows at The Edinburgh Fringe and is about to embark on a UK tour.

Middle Act – Laura Smyth

Laura Smyth is making waves on the comedy scene, this working-class East Londoner won the Funny Women Awards in 2019 only 5 months after her first ever stand-up gig. Steve Bennett (Chortle) described her as ‘a real force-of-nature’ and he wasn’t wrong. Laura made her comedy TV debut on JONATHAN ROSS’ COMEDY CLUB for ITV. Since then she has appeared on YESTERDAY, TOMORROW AND THE DAY BEFORE for Comedy Cemtral UK and AS YET UNTITLED for Dave. She recently recorded a set for LIVE AT THE APOLLO for the BBC, which is due to air this Autumn.

Stephen Grant is one of the UK’s funniest, hardest working and most respected comedians. A multi-award winning MC and the most experienced late show compere in the UK due to his 23 year residency at the Krater Comedy Club. He has taken six critically acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh Fringe since 2003. A repeat award winner of Best UK Compere, Stephen Grant is one of the hardest working comedy performers and writers in the UK.
