IN THIS SECTION:
Drop off point
There is a drop off and collection point 2 metres from the main theatre entrance.
The car park is floodlit and has 60 car parking spaces on tarmac. The grass area can be extended by another 15 vehicles (only recommended if the grass is dry!); opposite the theatre the car parking space is ample on the road. There is a bus stop on North Road a very short walk from the entrance.
There is a dropped kerb (one inch height) access from the car park into the foyer. The foyer, bar, sweet counter, accessible toilets and accessible seats are all level access on the ground floor.
There are four wheelchair spaces on the front row of the stalls.
There are accessible toilets on the Ground Floor. The accessible toilets are fitted with emergency pull cords which are linked to the bar.
Baby changing facilities
There are baby changing facilities in the accessible toilet on the ground floor.
Several of our staff and volunteers are First Aid trained with valid Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work certificates. We also have a defibrillator (AED) housed in the foyer and our certified First Aiders are trained to use it.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the theatre and performance spaces. If you are going to be accompanied by an assistance dog please contact the Box Office, in advance of booking, so that we can make arrangements to either seat you together during the show or dog sit for you. We will happily provide a water bowl.
We’re delighted that The Tower Theatre is a very safe environment for all members of staff, volunteers and theatregoers. Our venue should be the norm, not the exception, that’s why we’re supporting the UK Safer Theatres Charter.
