Safeguarding
Safeguarding at The Tower Theatre
FHODS and The Tower Theatre are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all children and young people who take part in our activities.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We want children, young people, parents, members, volunteers and staff to feel able to raise any concern about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
If you have a safeguarding concern
If you see, hear or become aware of something that causes you concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person, please report it as soon as possible.
You do not need to decide whether something amounts to abuse before reporting it. If you are worried, tell us.
This includes concerns about:
- something a child or young person tells you
- something you have seen or heard
- changes in a child’s behaviour or wellbeing
- inappropriate behaviour or communication by an adult
- the conduct of a member of staff, volunteer or anyone else associated with the theatre
- concerns about activity taking place online or outside the theatre
Never assume that somebody else will report a concern.
