Getting to The Tower Theatre
The Tower Theatre sits on the hills of Shorncliffe in Folkestone, on Kent‘s beautiful south east coast. We’re easy to reach — whether you‘re coming from London, the Continent, or just down the road — and with 60 spaces in our floodlit car park, there’s no need to circle the block. Our postcode is CT20 3HL and our What3Words address is lamps.minus.prepped. However you‘re travelling, here’s how to find us.
By Car
From the M20, turn off at junction 12, take the B2064 (Cheriton Approach leading to Cheriton High Street). Go straight on at the first set of traffic lights (left lane) and turn right at the second onto the B2063 (Risborough Lane – the signpost says Hythe B2063 and Shorncliffe Garrison). Continue for 0.6 miles and turn right onto North Road (signposted Hythe B2063 and Shorncliffe Garrison). The Tower Theatre will be on your left after 0.3 miles.
Parking
The car park is floodlit and has 60 car parking spaces on tarmac. The grass area can be extended by another 15 vehicles (in good weather). There is also ample parking space on Royal Military Avenue (opposite the theatre gates).

By Rail
The nearest station to The Tower Theatre is Folkestone West Station. It is approximately a 20 minute walk from Folkestone West to the theatre. Southeastern Railway run trains direct from St Pancras International and is a roughly 50 minute journey. For full rail times and prices details visit Southeastern Railway.
By Bus
Stagecoach run buses directly from Folkestone Bus Station to The Tower Theatre.
Route number 10 stops a few yards from the theatre gates (the stop is called ‘Tower Theatre’) while routes 70 and 102 stop nearby.
National Express run a direct service from London Victoria Coach Station to Folkestone Bus Station.

By Air
If you’ve evolved into a superhuman with wings you can see our tower from miles around – it’s easy to spot. We recommend arriving early so you have plenty of space to land in the car park without crash landing on any cars. Please don’t land on the tower’s roof. Our ushers would prefer not to check your tickets from the roof, it’s windy up there and many of our ushers are afraid of heights.
Please note: Aeroplanes, rotorcraft, helicopters, airships (including blimps), gliders, paramotors, hot air balloons, jetpacks and parachutists are not permitted to land in our car park. We’d just have the Civil Aviation Authority complaining at us. Trust me, it’s not worth the hassle.
