Beverly and Laurence are a married couple whose love language is passive aggression, and things come to a cringe-inducing head when their friends and neighbours, Angela and Tony, come over for drinks and nibbles with a side of hostility.
When Susan joins the melting pot to get away from her teenage daughter Abigail’s birthday party a few doors down, the audience get to witness the hilarious chaos that comes to a head when five people who have nothing in common and no love for each other are pushed into a claustrophobic, obnoxiously decorated living room and pumped full of booze.
Expect drama, hilarity, cutting dialogue and an abject, unforgettable lesson in how to host the house party from hell!

The evening will feature various elements of performing; be it songs from musicals, monologues, comedy sketches and more! 10% of the profits from the night will be donated to Children in Need, with the remainder going towards the FHODS’ Youth Section, for their future development and experiences into the world of theatre.
Please come and join us for this wonderful fundraiser and enjoy an evening of entertainment, created by this talented group of young performers. There will also be a raffle and donation bucket for both charities.

FHODS are delighted to present Agatha Christie’s ‘A Murder is Announced’, for their first play of 2024.
Set at the beginning of the 1940s, the play takes place in the drawing rooms of Little Paddocks, an early Victorian house in Chipping Cleghorn. The discovery of an announcement in the local paper, that there will be a murder at Little Paddocks at 6.30pm, sets the scene for this famous murder mystery.
Join Miss Marple & Inspector Craddock, as they lead us to the plays dramatic conclusion.
Can you follow the trail of clues, as Miss Marple unearths who wrote the announcement, how the murder was committed and most importantly – WHODUNNIT!

FHODS are delighted to present Agatha Christie’s ‘A Murder is Announced’, for their first play of 2024.
An announcement in the local paper states the time and place of an imminent murder. When an unknown visitor to Miss Blacklock’s Victorian home dies under the prescribed circumstances, Miss Marple turns up to solve the case.
Set in a post-war Chipping Cleghorn, a quintessentially British Village, while rationing is ongoing and the threat of socialism looms.
