Hobson's Choice (May 2024)First off we have Hobson’s Choice which opens this Thursday 16th May running until Saturday 18th May. This comedy is based around the battle of wills between a hard-headed cobbler, called Hobson and his daughter Maggie. Maggie defies Hobson by marrying his most talented worker – the timid and downtrodden Will. She helps Will to develop his potential and together they turn the tables on Hobson.

Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks (May 2024) SquareFollowed shortly after by Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, our first FHODS Small Stage Theatre production, opening on Thursday 23rd May until Saturday 25th May. In Richard Alfieri’s poignant comedy, FHODS invites you to a retirees apartment in Florida to witness the developing relationship between Lily Harrison, a ‘take no prisoners’ widow of a conservative baptist minister, and Michael Minetti an acerbic gay dance instructor, newly from New York. Both wounded, both keeping secrets, an unlikely friendship forms leading to a meeting of feet, if not always minds.

Punk and Plume (June 2024)June starts with Kings, Queens and Inbetweens, on Saturday 8th June, presented by Punk and Plume, who regularly perform at The Tower. Enjoy an evening of top drag cabaret, hosted by the fabulous Dita Garbo, featuring a variety of acts to entertain and delight. Continue your night after the show with music & dancing. Guaranteed to be a night to remember!

Opera Gala (June 2024)We are thrilled to have the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra back with us again on the 13th June, this time with the HPO Wind Quintet. Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra is a dynamic world-class symphony orchestra for the flourishing South East, led by Artistic Director Marcio da Silva.
Come and listen to an exciting and light summer evening programme, including opera overtures you will certainly recognize.

The Hijacked Hollies (June 2024) SquareOn the 15th June we are delighted to have The Hijacked Hollies returning to The Tower. Paying tribute to one of the 60’s and 70’s greatest vocal bands, The Hijacked Hollies feature all the classic Hollies favourites including Bus Stop, Carrie Anne and The Air That I Breathe and their smash hit He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother. If you are a big Hollies fan, or just enjoy reminiscing the sounds of the 60s and 70s, then this tribute is one not to miss!

Beauty and the Beast (June 2024)Then from 28th June – 7th July on various dates, FHODS are proud to bring you Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Full of all your favourite songs and characters from Disney’s Academy Award-winning 1991 animated feature film. We even have an exclusive Sing-a-long on the 7th July, where you can join in with Lumiere singing ‘Be our Guest’, Mrs Potts singing ‘Beauty and the Beast’, or even with Lefou in ‘Gaston’!
