His treatments of jazz standards, and originals, both live and on CD, have won great admiration from audiences and the press. Renato studied with masters such as Sal Nistico, Tony Scott, Steve Grossman and Joe Henderson.

He has played with great jazzmen such as: Eddie Gomez, Art Farmer, Sal Nistico, Steve Grossman, Eddie Duran, Kirk Lightsey and Keith Copeland to name a few and has performed  in most of the major venues and festivals in the UK, and since May 2002 he has played regularly in Paris, receiving warm acclaim from Jazz Hot magazine and TSF Radio.

This marvellous band comprised of four highly talented and sensitive artists will take you on a beautiful trip exploring various landscapes. The music of Cedar Walton is rooted in jazz but is also influenced by latin music,  which offers a great combination of grooves and melodies to the listener.

The compositions are wonderful and the harmonic structures are suitable  territory for improvising and creating some beautiful atmospheres.  The band is passionate about Cedar Walton’s  and Hazletine’s music  and looks forward to sharing some great moments with the audience.

Jake Werth
Jake has been performing throughout the UK and abroad for 13 years, attending the Royal Academy of Music and Cambridge University. His main passion is bebop, with influences spanning Cedar Walton, Bud Powell, Ahmad Jamal, Barry Harris and many more in the rich traditions of bebop and hard-bop piano.“

Lorenzo Morabito
Lorenzo is a highly talented young bassist and very much present on the London Jazz scene. Based in North West London, he has played all over the UK with the likes of: Alex Garnett, Mark Taylor, Rachael Cohen, John Marshall, Andrea Rinciari and Tom Kirk.

Alfonso Vitale
Alfonso was born in 1991 in Messina, Italy. He started playing the drums at the age of three and became a regular fixture at local Jazz Club ‘La Sosta’, sitting in with visiting veteran stars like Bobby Watson, Kenny Barron, Buster Williams, Steve Swallow and others.

In 2013 he graduated from the Conservatoire A. Corelli with a degree in classical percussion.  Soon after moving to the UK, he became a regular sideman with tenor saxophonist Renato D’Aiello at Ronnie Scott’s Acoustic Jazz Lounge and found a comfortable footing on the London scene.  More recently Alfonso returned from a three month sabbatical in the Big Apple, New York City, honing and extending his skills as an exponent of his stylistic passion in the style of the old jazz masters.

Support act – POGGY

Hailing from the picturesque Kent coastal town of Deal, Poggy is a singer-songwriter and musician whose music echoes the untamed spirit of the wild.

Growing up in a bustling household of six, music was the heartbeat of her formative years, Poggy and her four sisters bonded through playful harmonies and heartfelt melodies, setting the stage for her musical journey. With a voice that embodies the essence of a primal force, Poggy’s music is a mesmerizing fusion of jazz, world, and folk elements, inviting listeners on a kaleidoscopic journey through song.

Drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature and the mysteries of life, her compositions intertwine hauntingly melodic tunes with poignant storytelling, evoking emotions that resonate deep within the soul. In a world that often rushes past the beauty of nature and the simplicity of life, Poggy’s music acts as a reminder to slow down, to listen, and to embrace the raw elements that call us back to the wild.

With a second Album soon to be released, Poggy has launched her Debut Album ‘Woman‘ in 2016 followed by a Single ‘No more I’ in 2021.
