The Tower Theatre isn’t just somewhere to watch a show. During the daytime, we’re opening selected spaces to groups, instructors, tutors and organisations looking for somewhere different to meet, learn, create or work together.
From regular classes and creative workshops to community groups, meetings, talks and one-off events, we’d love to hear what you have in mind.

The Blue Room
Our foyer provides a flexible setting for smaller-scale activities and groups.
It’s particularly suited to:

The Auditorium
A proper theatre environment with 293 fixed, tiered seats and a stage.
Ideal for activities where an audience is central, including:

A theatre with character
The Tower Theatre occupies the former Garrison Church of St Mark at Shorncliffe, a Grade II listed building.
Folkestone-Hythe Operatic & Dramatic Society transformed the former church into a theatre, and The Tower Theatre opened to the public in 2006.
Today it is a busy working theatre — and we’re looking to make even more use of the building during the daytime.
Your activity doesn’t have to be theatrical to belong in a theatre.
